- Two 8ft slings now known as 120cm slings!

- Sun cream, hat & sunglasses
- Head torch & spare batteries / bulb
- Small personal 1st Aid kit
- Mobile phone that works in Europe
Some of the above climbing equipment can be supplied
by Talisman Activities for FREE if you don’t already own it. Let us know
if you wish to hire any gear before you arrive!
Don't forget your passport, E111 and insurance
documents (see below)
Insurance...
Please make sure you have up to date travel &
activity insurance that covers rock climbing & mountaineering. You’ll need
to show us details of this so bring a copy with you. Unfortunately, we
will be unable to proceed with the course without the insurance. See the ActiveCard and the BMC links below:
Participation Statement...
"Climbing and mountaineering are activities with a danger of personal
injury or death. Participants in these activities should be aware of and
accept these risks and be responsible for their own actions and
involvement." (BMC Participation Statement) We are covered by professional
liability insurance but you are responsible for organising your own
CANCELLATION, CURTAILMENT & ACCIDENT COVER
Flights...
Flights to Malaga, Palma or Alicante Airport in
Spain. For the weeks holiday you generally arrive on the Saturday although
other days can be arranged. When you arrive at the airport we will be
waiting for you in the arrivals hall holding a Talisman Card to take you
to our luxury villa and a complimentary glass of wine by the swimming
pool….
