Trek & Climb Mont Blanc (14 days)
Course date July / August 2009

success while in the Alps participants should have completed a Scottish
winter skills or mountaineering course recently run by a recognised
Instructor or Guide.
A full week of spectacular alpine trekking in the Mont Blanc area to
get you fit and acclimatised for the second week when you will have your
chance to climb the mighty Mont Blanc, the highest peak in western Europe
at 4807 metres. The first week will be guided by fully qualified UK
International Mountain Leaders. The guide to client ratio will be kept low
at 1:4 and often much less to ensure maximum success and minimum impact on
the environment.
During the second week you'll be passed over to a highly experienced
Mountain Guide (IFMGA) such as 'Smiler' and his team for further technical
training and preparation for your ascent of Mont Blanc.
The cost for the trip is £1195 per person excluding food,
accommodation, transfers or cablecars or £1795 with half board
accommodation and Geneva airport transfers. The trip will run for a
minimum of two people. On the ascent of Mont Blanc the maximum guide to
client ratio is 1:2
The fee includes three nights is alpine huts and three return journeys
by cable car (telepherique) Thereafter the clients are responsible for
their own and guides, hut, food and cablecar expenses
You will be transferred to and from Geneva airport by our taxi service.
